Highly Successful "BDs"
Our offspring have been in top form everywhere in recent weeks. First and foremost, SPLOTCH BD (by Secret x Fairlight BD) was the only 6-year-old among all the 7-year-olds to convincingly win the medium (M) dressage horse class under Leonie in Scharnebeck. Two weeks earlier, the black gelding also took third place in Hildesheim. His full brother, SHREK BD (by Secret x Fairlight BD), who is one year younger, won both the novice and elementary (A) dressage horse classes under Justus Buch.
JOKER BD (by Jovian - Don Frederico) also won the elementary (L) dressage horse class under Nadine Funke. He also secured third place for his rider in another elementary (L) dressage horse class and, for the first time, fifth place in the elementary (L) dressage horse class on the bridle. After three very successful foals, Leonie presented the now 7-year-old IDA BD (by Asgard's Ibiza - Don Frederico) at a show for the first time. With third and fourth place finishes in elementary level dressage tests, the typey chestnut mare made an immediate impression. CRICKET BD (by Charmeur - Don Frederico) added two fifth-place finishes in Grand Prix competitions to his impressive competition record.
DIO DAGOSTINO (by Desperado NOP - Royal Classic) rounded off the list, collecting three ribbons in dressage tests.
Nonstop Tournament Success
Lisel Dingley continues her successful path. She not only attends every clinic Leonie offers in Australia, but also gives Leonie weekly online lessons. Lisel won three consecutive medium (M**) level competitions with ELMO (by Estobar), whom we purchased for her last year and kept with us for a few months for further training. She also won a Grand Prix on OASIS.
Maximillian Bleck earned his first international ribbon with his CLARETTO (by Clarimo) at the Hamburg Derby in the final of the Small Tour, an Intermediaire I. Anna Kahle was delighted with a 4th place in the Intermediaire I and 3rd place in the St. George on her DAIVA NERA (by Danciano). Alex Kern also earned two further advanced (S) level ribbons (5th and 10th place) on his FÜRST LUIGI (by Fahrenheit).
Jannien Sandbrink-Klaproth achieved another M** level victory with her NOUVELLE VIE (by Negro). Dr. Vanessa Schwiegershausen and REVOLUNA (by Revolution) won an M level dressage test. Michael Edzards and his LUDWIG (by Lissaro) won the gold ribbon in the L level dressage test in Vorsfelde, which featured a large field of 38 starters. Dr. Timm Ohnweiler and QUEEN CUTE (by Quindale) also won again in L level dressage horse tests.
